bacon: the king of meat
i had a weekend road trip with the girls to Buffalo NY, well, technically just outside of Buffalo--a lovely plot of land filled with hydro fields and happily, discount shopping, and the great American magic sausage king--Bob Evans. Here is the tale of our journey or more accurately what i ate:
Dinner #1 - The Olive Garden - surprisingly tasty martinis, salad and pasta (whole wheat linguini with gorgonzola and mini steaks, yes steaks plural). This meal was made all the more pleasant by our waiter Rob, who claimed, that for his film class they watched Six Degrees of Separation. Not a bad movie but on a school curriculum for film?
Breakfast #1 - Bob Evans, King of the Magic Sausage and a bowl of his magic sausage sauce with eggs and crepes and biscuits and i think also hash browns. and definitely bacon. oh yes bacon.
Dinner #2 - Jack Astor's - hmm, not so much with the good. maybe bad meat in my noodles, hard to say. service was terrible but enthusiastic, sorta.
Breakfast #2 - Not to be fickle, Breakfast #1 was overshadowed by Breakfast #2 which was a locally owned and operated place called...shit, i forget. Ladies? Anyone remember? It was yummy. and the waitress was awesome. i had 2 eggs over easy with thick cut bacon and french toast.
Snack - Annie's pretzels in cinnamon and sugar.
Linner #2 - Denny's: The Super Bird with onion rings. And bacon. Tasty as hell.
Now i must go to bed and rest for tomorrow's sumo match.
ha cha cha
