it was so good, way beyond finger lickin'
the skin was a salty and savoury dark
crispy, mahogany deliciousness bark
her time in the kitchen was well spent
sending her three friends on pleasure bent

my hard drive went to the doctor. the hard drive had amnesia. turns out, it's not just amnesia but brain damage. so i will get some files back, but not all and some of them are going to be gibberish and they won't even remember who they are or who I am or that we used to know each other. the whole things makes me very sad. soon, i will be pushing my old hard drive around in a wheel chair while it mumbles rude things at children, tries to beg for change out side of shopper's drug mart and starts wearing it's underwear backwards - it at all.

getting old sucks hard. like a dyson. yes, a dyson. a very powerful cyclonic vacuum cleaner.

a more positive and happy casper

i've decided that it is time to lead a more positive-focused life and stop dwelling on all the baddies (weight, weight and more weight, the fact that i am never going to grow any taller, and so on).

day one of the "happy happy program" for casper is starting slowly. i had eggs (happy). I had coffee (v. happy). i had impromptu afternoon tea with a two-year old (silly happy). and then there were some worries but i've found ginger snaps chase them right away.

i am very excited about the new happiness of the new work and all the good that is to come. insert triumphant 'ride of the valkryies' type music here, except no scary world domination overtones.
